I'm Edwin, I live in a rural area in Surrey, England. I've been writing a song a week for now, I love songwriting! I have written songs in pop, rock, jazz, electronica and folk styles.

At February Album Writing Month (FAWM) in 2010 I was aiming to write arty, poetic, textural riffy songs which are quite the opposite of my normal more literal, carefully crafted stuff. This was inspired by the Brian Eno quote: "What matters in modern music is not the part you can write down, the words and the tune, but the rest -- the texture, the atmosphere, the references and associations" ...
